Obtaining
Logs are obtained from Trees by using any inventory item, but are most efficiently obtained using an Axe. Trees are found in most biomes. The following types of Logs are obtainable:
Usage / Purpose
Logs are used to craft any wood items, including Wooden Planks and Sticks.
Logs can also be used to create Charcoal in the Furnace. Charcoal is an alternative to Coal when crafting Torches.
Drops / Yields
The entire Tree drops a various number of Logs, depending on the size of the Tree. Each Tree block yields one log.
Storage
Logs are storable in stacks of 64 units.
Notes
Logs have a specific-looking bark and wood hue depending on the Tree species.
