Minecraft (Pocket Edition)
Diorite
Obtaining
Diorite is primarily obtained through mining (it is relatively common and easy to find), although it can also be acquired through Stonecutting Cobblestone and Nether Quartz.
Usage / Purpose
Diorite can be used to create Polished Diorite, or combined with other ingredients in the stonecutter to create Granite (Diorite and Nether Quartz) and Andesite (Diorite and Cobblestone).
Drops / Yields
Each mined block of Diorite drops one unit of Diorite.
Storage
Diorite is stored in stacks of up to 64 units.
Notes
Typically, Stone Bricks are created in the Stonecutter with Stone as the raw material (see recipe below). Alternatively (although the Stonecutter recipe matrix does not show this), Stone Bricks can also be made from the same quantities of Diorite, Andesite or Granite.
Recipe
Diorite is created by Stonecutting two Cobblestone and two Nether Quartz, yielding two units of Diorite.
