Obtaining

An Iron Pickaxe is obtained through Crafting (see recipe below).

Usage / Purpose

An Iron Pickaxe is one of the most useful as it has both durability and the ability to mine a wide range of items. It is capable of mining the following:

• Coal Ore
• Cobblestone
• Diamond Ore
• Emerald Ore
• Gold Ore
• Iron Ore
• Lapis Lazuli
• Redstone
• Sandstone

Storage

Pickaxes are not stackable and require one inventory slot for storage.

The Iron Pickaxe is one of the most durable and versatile of all Pickaxes. Here is a list of how many uses you can get out of each Pickaxe type:

• Diamond Pickaxe: 1562 uses
• Iron Pickaxe: 251 uses
• Stone Pickaxe: 132 uses
• Wooden Pickaxe: 60 uses
• Golden Pickaxe: 33 uses

Recipe

A Wooden Pickaxe is crafted from three Iron Ingots and two Sticks.
