Stone stairs
Obtaining
Stone Stairs are created in the Stonecutter with Cobblestone as the raw material (see recipe below).
Usage / Purpose
Stairs are useful as a they allow you to move up and down from deep locations by walking forward instead of hop-stepping. Stairs make each step taken a half-step which makes walking slopes faster and easier.
Stairs are also useful as a roofing material (see Villages as a naturally generated example of wooden Stairs used for this purpose).
Storage
Stairs are stored in stacks of up to 64 units.
Notes
Stairs can also be placed upside down to provide a surface to store your Cake.
Recipe
Stone Stairs are created in the Stonecutter with six Cobblestone, yielding four Stone Stair units.
