Unless you stop and look closely, you may be missing a lot of wonderful things in this world. On this walk through the book you would have missed a lot of colourful insects. Can become a classroom favourite as children time and time again play the game of “what’s hiding in the picture?”

Make a class book:

1. Using paints, crayons, pastels, or construction paper design and produce pictures with insects hiding in them.
2. Show them to other class members. Can they guess what’s hiding?
3. Produce a title page, and staple all of the pages together to make a “Look Closer” class book.
