Objective
Students will be able to focus on significant events and the general feelings in a novel by naming each chapter.
Materials
- a novel with no chapter titles
Method
- After the novel is read, ask students to analyze each chapter for content and general feeling. Write these all out on a piece of paper.
- Have students then create titles for each chapter, keeping in mind these main events and the feelings that resulted from them.
