Obtaining

Shears are Crafted from Iron Ingot (see recipe below).

Usage / Purpose

Shears are a tool used to gather a variety of resources that would be otherwise lost when the block was broken. Shears are used to gather the following:

• Cobweb
• Dead Bush
• Fern
• Large Fern
• Grass
• Double Tallgrass
• Lily Pad
• Acacia Leaves
• Birch Leaves
• Dark Oak Leaves
• Jungle Leaves
• Oak Leaves
• Spruce Leaves
• Vines
• Wool

Storage

Shears are not stackable and require one inventory slot per pair of Shears.

Notes

If a tree's leaves are broken without Shears they potentially drop Saplings. If Shears are used then the leaves themselves are harvested.

Recipe

Shears are Crafted from two Iron Ingots, yielding one pair of Shears.
