An elephant goes like this and that,
He's terribly big,
And he's terribly fat;
He has no fingers,
And hs no toes,
But goodness gracious,
What a long nose!
(curl hands away from nose)
The elephant has a trunk for a nose, And up and down is the way it goes; He wears such a saggy, baggy hide; Do you think two elephants would fit inside?
Once there was an elephant,
Who tried to use the telephant -
No! no! I mean an elephone
Who tried to use the telephone -
(Dear me! I am not certain quite
That even now I’ve got it right.)
Howe’er it was, he got his trunk
Entangled in the telephunk;
The more he tried to get it free,
The louder buzzed the telephee -
(I fear I’d better drop the song
Of elephop and telephong!)

Elephant (to the tune of "Here we go 'round the Mulberry Bush")
This is the elephant's tail so thin, Tail so thin, tail so thin, This is the elephant's tail so thin, Swish, swish, swish.
These are the elephant's feet so huge, Feet so huge, feet so huge, These are the elephant's feet so huge, Stomp, stomp, stomp.
This is the elephant's nose so long, Nose so long, nose so long, This is the elephant's nose so long, Blow, blow, blow.
These are the animals all around, All around, all around, These are the animals all around, Run, run, run!

An elephant is fat and strong, His trunk is very, very long, His tail and ears flap bugs away, And keep him cool on hot, hot days.
