Put on Your Coat

Stuff an arm
into each sleeve,
put on your coat
before you leave.
Zip the zipper
right to the top,
and cover your head
whenever rain drops.

james hörner

(To the tune of "Did You Ever See a Lassie?")
Children put your coats on,
Your coats on , your coats on.
Children put your coats on,
One, two, three.

Children are now dressed,
Are dressed, are dressed
Children are now dressed.
Lets go out to play.

The Mitten Song

"Thumbs in the thumb-place,
Fingers all together!"
This is the song
We sing in mitten-weather.
When it is cold,
It doesn't matter whether
Mittens are wool,
Or made of finest leather.
This is the song
We sing in mitten-weather:
"Thumbs in the thumb-place,
Fingers all together!"

Marie Louise Allen

When I have to go KERCHOO,
do you know what I always do?
My tissue covers both mouth and nose
And into my tissue my kerchoo goes.

We Wash Our Hands
(to the tune of "The Ants Go Marching")

We wash our hands before we eat,
Hoorah, hoorah!
We wash our hands before we eat,
Hoorah, hoorah!
We wash and wash,
And scrub and scrub
And dry and dry our hands -
Real well!
We wash our hands before we eat,
Hoorah, hoorah!

Wash Your Hands

Wash your hands
Before you eat,
A good health rule
That's hard to beat,
For better work,
For better play,
Eat three good meals,
Everyday.

The rule with glue is
a little dab will do.

Dot dot, does alot (glue)

A little dab'll do ya
A little dab'll do ya
A little dab'll do ya
To glue ya!

Stop! Look! Listen

Stop!
Look!
Listen!
Before you cross the street.
Use your eyes.
Use your ears.
Then use your feet.

(for attendance)
Zoom zoom astronaut,
can you say your name
or not?

(for attendance)
Hickity tickity bumblebee,
Can you sing your name
With me?

Sit where you munched your lunch.

(for kids who interrupt)

Please let your classmates finish --
Whatever they begin!
Why be a silly little goat
Forever butting in?
