3-4. How Learning Occurs

Learning occurs in predictable cycles. When something new is taught, there are many steps that the learner must go through before the new skill becomes "natural."

This learning cycle seems to be necessary whenever new strategies are being learned.

It becomes easier when there are strong beliefs that a student-centered environment is critical for students.
